This Privacy Policy explains how J M Barry Management Pty Ltd (ABN 68 132 496 247), trading as Cellarise (we, us, our), collects, uses, holds and protects personal information when you use cellarise.com (the Site). We handle personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).

1. Who we are

Cellarise is the AI agentic software development house that delivers custom web applications and integrations to businesses. The Site and the services are operated by J M Barry Management Pty Ltd (ABN 68 132 496 247), an Australian proprietary limited company; “Cellarise” is a business name registered with the Australian Securities and Investments Commission.

2. Analytics, observability, and consent

When you use the consent banner to enable optional categories, we may use the following service providers:

• Sentry (EU) — error monitoring and application performance traces
• PostHog (EU) — website and product analytics events
• Grafana Cloud (AU) — server logs, distributed traces, and operational metrics

Our consent banner offers four categories:

• Necessary — required for the site to function (always on)
• Analytics — PostHog events and Sentry error context
• Replay — PostHog session replay, with personal information masked before capture
• Marketing — advertising and remarketing pixels (none currently in use)

Retention windows: analytics events are retained for up to 12 months; session replays for up to 30 days; performance traces for up to 90 days.

3. Information we collect

Information you give us. When you send a project brief or otherwise enquire through the Site, we collect the details you provide — typically your name, email address, business name, and the content of your brief or enquiry.

Information collected automatically. When you visit the Site, our hosting and infrastructure providers record standard technical information such as your IP address, browser type, device information and the pages you view. Where website analytics are enabled, we use them in an aggregated form to understand how the Site is used.

Cookies and local storage. The Site uses only the cookies and browser storage needed for it to function — for example, remembering your light/dark display preference or keeping you signed in. You can control or clear cookies through your browser settings; some parts of the Site may not work as intended if you disable them.

4. How we use your information

We use personal information to:

• respond to your enquiries and project briefs;
• scope, plan and deliver work you have engaged us for;
• provide guides, articles or other information you have asked for;
• operate, maintain, secure and improve the Site and our services; and
• meet our legal and record-keeping obligations.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for purposes unrelated to those above without your consent.

5. Disclosure of your information

We may share personal information with third parties that help us operate the Site and run our business — including website hosting and infrastructure providers, scheduling tools, and email delivery services. These providers may only use the information to perform services for us. We may also disclose information where required or authorised by law. We do not otherwise disclose your personal information to third parties.

We will only send you material that you would reasonably expect or have asked to receive, such as a reply to your enquiry or content you requested. Any marketing email will include a way to unsubscribe, and you can opt out at any time by contacting us.

We keep personal information only for as long as it is needed for the purpose it was collected, or as required by law. When it is no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to delete it or de-identify it.

We take reasonable technical and organisational steps to protect personal information from misuse, interference, loss, and unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. No website or electronic system can be guaranteed completely secure, and you provide information to us at your own risk.

9. Overseas storage

Where practical we host customer data on Australian-hosted infrastructure. Some of our service providers may store or process data outside Australia. Where that occurs, we take reasonable steps to ensure your information is handled consistently with the APPs.

10. Accessing and correcting your information

You may request access to the personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct it if it is inaccurate, out of date or incomplete. To make a request, contact us using the details below. We will respond within a reasonable period and may need to verify your identity first.

11. Complaints

If you have a concern about how we have handled your personal information, please contact us first so we can try to resolve it. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.

12. Children

The Site and our services are intended for business owners and operators, not children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe we have, please contact us so we can delete it.
